Spoilers: Follows the background story to "Apocripha/0", and as such, contains spoilers.
Summary: A fallen angel who bears God's power, Seles, falls to the Abyss, and is found by the young boy Beryl, granting his wish to create a better world in the Abyss. But as the years go by, Beryl finds that Seles's utopia is far different than he had imagined, causing him to face a difficult choice...
Author's Notes: Even though I know it isn't a widely supported couple among the English-speaking fans of Apocripha/0, I just had to write a story about Beryl and Seles. I tried to base it on the background information of Apocripha/0 as much as possible. Thanks to Eruantale for translations that helped me begin this story. Inconsistancies with the real story are either due to my misunderstandings or ignorancy on the background information, or me taking creative liberty with the information I do know. As far as the title, "Ignis Fatuus," it means "a deceptive goal or hope."
