Summary: Ruby takes Alex to town to learn about life outside of the castle as well as other life lessons, and in the process of Alex growing up a bit, both learn something about their own feelings toward each other.
Authors' Notes: This story was born when we discovered that we both liked this rather non-mainstream couple, and therefore felt the need to write about them. Hopefully others too will either come to start thinking about this pairing, too, and be encouraged to write about their own non-mainstream favorites!
